No Clark Kent? Sort of...

Rumor/speculation.

Good source but I have to say this could be a risky move if true. I find it kind of hard to believe, but worth a look: "We will get the farm boy Kent, but do not expect to see him immediately in his role at the Daily Planet with Lois. It may be that Superman arrives on the scene and establishes himself prior to Clark Kent's start as a reporter. Superman may also be the turning point of Lois' career. So those expecting early interaction between the buddy crew could be disappointed. We will see his time in Smallville, exploration into Kryptonian mythology, and his transition to the hero we know as Superman. The reporter Kent will not be a big part of the first film."

Justice League 2015?

Rumor/speculation.

"There is sequel doubt in regards to the Green Lantern, and with Batman wrapping up soon, there are questions in regards to what is happening. Right now Superman may even be up in the air, hopefully worst case scenario is that it gets pushed back. A backup plan to keep the superhero franchise running strong is simply to group them all in a film together. Justice League may actually be more possible than ever."

Unused Joker Footage?

Another grain of salt tip. "There is some footage of the Joker from "The Dark Knight" that may find its way into the latest and last installment. This is not a gimmick, but a way to connect certain scenes bringing the story and trilogy full circle."

I would love to believe this, but will cautiously await any further developments.

Summer 2013 Release for "Man of Steel"?

Former Superman-v contributor sent the following info: "I'm hearing from a source who is close to Variety, that there have been a few issues preventing Superman from taking flight for a winter release. Issues with the script in and of itself are in part the reason. Both Crowe and Cavill need to be in a specific shape and certain scenes may be pushed back for filming because of this as well."

Right now it is just a rumor, more on this if anything develops.

Is Lex Luthor in "Man of Steel"?

Former Superman-v contributor sent the following info: "Lex will be in the film. Do not expect him as a lead character however. There will be a bigger lead up to the Lex fans are expecting. "The Dark Knight" managed to build the Joker from the ground up, and Zack Snyder/Christopher Nolan agree on this type of approach for Superman. Obviously as fans could guess, we are getting a corporate version of Lex on this go around. He will be manipulating more behind the scenes, but fans will definitely get the approach."
